Unhinged is a fast-paced read with a plot so twisted and fascinating that I couldn’t put the book down. It was like Silence of the Lambs unleashed on New Orleans. E.J. Findorff drew me into the life and culture of New Orleans, and although I have never been, I felt as if I had experienced the city first hand. From the start, I was pulled into the desperate plight of Detective Decland Dupree.

A serial killer has brutally murdered the girl with whom he’d shared his first kiss, and as the story unfolds, the situation grows even more dire. Unhinged is not for the faint of heart. In several scenes, the hair literally raised on the back of my neck. For those of you who like to be shocked and want to experience a true thriller, Unhinged is a must read.

Unhinged is a fast-paced read with a plot so exciting that I couldn’t put the book down. I read it in two days. E.J. Findorff drew me into the life and culture of New Orleans post Katrina. I felt as if I had experienced the city first hand. From the start, I was pulled into this thrilling story. All of the characters are so real and believable. Unhinged is not for the faint of heart. Several scenes gave me the chills. For those of you who want to experience a true thriller, Unhinged is a must read.

Unhinged is an interesting, well conceived and well written account of a young detective's experiences investigating the crimes of a serial killer in the aftermath of 'post Katrina' New Orleans. The twists and turns in this detective's investigation keep the reader affixed and riveted until its' exciting conclusion!

Unhinged reads like it’s right off the shelf. I am a mystery reader. Your book is as good, if not better, than most I've read. Looking forward to your next one.

As a police officer in a major city, I seldom read "crime novels". "Unhinged" was an exception. It had my interest from the very first sentence and I had a hard time putting it down. E J Findorff has done his homework and understands just how human police officers are and their unique strengths and weaknesses.

I read it in two sittings... the first 60+ pages, and then about a week later, finished the last 250+ at once. I DID enjoy it! It was fast paced, which I like, and being a DIEHARD Grisham fan, it was right up my alley! Look forward to your next effort!!!!!!

Unhinged was a great read. The plot pulled you in from the start and you felt like you were along for the ride during an investigation of a heinous crime. A great nail-biting crime novel.

From the first paragraph, I was on a thrill ride. I found myself connected with Detective Decland Dupree and anxiously anticipated his and the killer's every move. Great characters and imagery. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys fast-paced crime novels.

Great Job EJ. A good read through out. I liked the story line and the development of the characters...(SPOILER)...It was a very unique story. I'm passing the book to my friends after Katie reads it and I am interested in reading your other books.
